Joe Richards’ practice has focused on litigation and school work for more than 50 years. He represents the Eugene School District, Corvallis School District, Bethel School District, and many others.
Employment law: Defense of race, age, disability, and sex discrimination, and sexual harassment claims; grievance arbitration; general advice to human resources departments
School law: Defense of student and staff claims against school districts; policy development and interpretation; administrative law advice and practice before the Employment Relations Board
Insurance company defense: Products liability, employment related claims, and construction defects
