Monica began her legal career in 1985 and came to Luvaas Cobb in 1991. In addition to working as a legal assistant to Joel DeVore and Erin Fennerty, who specialize in the areas of civil litigation, insurance coverage and defense, appeals, and domestic relations, she also assists the firm’s attorneys with judgment collections.
In addition to her legal assistant duties, Monica is the firm’s in-house licensed private investigator, having obtained her license from the State of Oregon in 2004. She provides general investigatory services, specializing in background and asset investigations, skip tracing, national and regional locates (missing persons and witnesses, adoptions, estate heirs, etc.), and public records research. Monica is a member of the Oregon Association of Licensed Investigators and the National Professional Skip Tracers Association, and is also an Oregon Notary Public.
Outside of work, Monica enjoys travel, boating, camping, and hiking with her husband and their two “furry, four-legged kids.”
